Why has GMX mail stopped sending my outgoing emails?

If you can receive emails but can not send emails this usually means the authenication required by the outgoing (SMTP) server is not configured. … ‘My outgoing (SMTP) server requires authentication’ is not checked. In Outlook it is in advanced settings.

  1. Whenever an email can’t be delivered, GMX always sends an error message to the original sender. Please check if the error message was identified as spam or moved to another folder due to a filter rule. Please also check whether the email system you use actually forwards error messages to users.
